Club meetings take place three times a year (usually towards the end of the month in January, March and October) in the Ronuk Hall at Portslade Town Hall, Victoria Road, Portslade, BN41 1YF.

Our next meeting will be on the afternoon of 1st February 2020 which will be our AGM followed by a presentation by Mervyn Stedman. This will recreate a journey from Brighton to Nottingham in 1957, illustrating the buses that would have been seen along the way.  Doors open at 14.00, with the meeting starting at 14.30; it will conclude by 17.00. Entrance fee is £3.00.

Evening meetings at the same location during 2020 are planned for 28th March and 31st October. Details will be given nearer the time.

SEC publications, photographs and other items are usually available for purchase at our meetings.

Transport enthusiasts who are not members of the SEC will be welcome to attend our meetings.

Every summer the Club organises an evening mystery tour for members of local bus groups to a topical destination or by covering old Southdown routes. Usually preserved vehicles are used; there is a stop for refreshments and photo opportunities are provided.

The date of our 2020 Mystery Tour is yet to be confirmed.
