This Omnibus Society South Wales & West Branch timetable book, edited by SEC Sales Officer Dave Chalkley, follows following a retendering exercise of bus routes in Powys. Revised services were introduced on 31 August 2025 but no booklet showing all of the services has been produced, so the Omnibus Society has decided to produce a complete guide to the timetables of all routes operating in the county, including those which were not part of the tendering exercise.

The booklet is presented in alpha-numeric order of services, a selection of photographs is included and a map of bus services in Powys has been kindly made available by Brendan Fox of busatlas.uk from information on his website and is on the centre pages of the book although for clarity school services and some other services are not shown on the map. Some general information about Day Tickets and Powys Day Rover Tickets is also shown.

Services which enter Powys from neighbouring counties are also included although not all of the timing points on the sections of route outside of Powys are included. In particular, services from Machynlleth to the south, west and north do not serve villages and towns in Powys outside of the Machynlleth environs, so only brief details are shown. The 48 page book is illustrated with some photographs of vehicles operating the services listed.
